Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Dr. Paul's AI Skin Analysis Platform operated by Dr. Paul's Multispeciality Clinic Private Limited. By using the platform you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions

  • AI Assessment — a preliminary AI-assisted assessment based on user-provided information and images.
  • Company — Dr. Paul's Multispeciality Clinic Private Limited.
  • Platform — the Dr. Paul's AI Skin Analysis solution deployed on web, mobile or partner interfaces.
  • User — any individual accessing or using the Platform.
  • Technology Partner — approved vendors assisting with AI processing, including Orbo where applicable.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the Platform, you accept these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you are legally competent to use the Platform, or that you have guardian consent where required.

3. Nature of the service

The Platform provides an AI-assisted preliminary assessment and educational guidance only. It is not a substitute for clinical examination.

4. No doctor–patient relationship, diagnosis or prescription

  • Using the Platform alone does not establish a doctor–patient relationship.
  • The AI output is a probable assessment and must not be treated as a confirmed diagnosis.
  • The Platform does not prescribe medicines or replace consultation with a registered medical practitioner.

5. Emergency care

Users with severe, rapidly worsening or emergency symptoms should seek immediate medical attention.

6. Accuracy of information and image upload

  • You are responsible for providing truthful questionnaire responses and authentic photographs.
  • You warrant that uploaded images belong to you or are uploaded with lawful authority, and are not misleadingly edited.

7. AI limitations

AI outputs depend on image quality, lighting and your responses, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Home-care and clinic recommendations are indicative only and require clinical confirmation.

8. No guarantee

The Company does not guarantee cure, permanent improvement or specific outcomes. Individual results vary.

9. User conduct and fraud prevention

You shall not misuse the Platform, impersonate others, upload unlawful content or interfere with system security. The Company may suspend access where fraud, abuse or suspicious activity is suspected.

10. Privacy and technology partners

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Authorised technology partners may process data solely for providing the AI service, under contractual obligations.

11. Intellectual property and permitted use

The Platform, questionnaires, AI logic, reports, trademarks and content remain the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for personal lawful purposes.

12. Prohibited claims

Nothing on the Platform should be interpreted as guaranteeing cure or making prohibited healthcare advertising claims.

13. Suspension and termination

The Company may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, its directors, officers, doctors, employees and authorised technology partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform.

15. Indemnity

You agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its directors, officers, employees, doctors and authorised technology partners from claims arising from false information, unauthorised uploads, unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms.

16. Data retention and changes

Data may be retained for operational, legal, medical record and regulatory purposes in accordance with applicable law. The Company may revise these Terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing law, disputes and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes may first be attempted through amicable resolution and, where agreed, arbitration before resorting to courts. Subject to applicable law, courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have jurisdiction.

18. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and applicable consent forms, constitute the entire agreement governing use of the Platform.

Schedule A — Mandatory user acknowledgements

  • I understand the report is AI-assisted and preliminary.
  • I understand the report is not a confirmed medical diagnosis.
  • I understand treatment decisions require consultation with a qualified registered medical practitioner.
  • I consent to processing of my images and questionnaire responses for AI-assisted assessment.
  • I understand no cure or treatment outcome has been guaranteed.

Important: This report is generated using Artificial Intelligence based on the information and images you submitted. It is intended only for preliminary educational assessment. It is not a medical diagnosis or prescription. Final diagnosis and treatment must be confirmed by a qualified registered medical practitioner. Individual results vary and no guarantee of cure or outcome is expressed or implied.
